Our Kiddos

Does it seem strange to me that Easton's head is about as big as his sisters?? :) Growing, growing, growing!! I was looking back in Raquelle's calendar where I kept track of her schedule and sleeping patterns...I've realized although Easton is a VERY happy baby, he's a bigger eater than his sister and can't make it as long through the night. I guess that's the first major difference I've seen in boy vs. girl!! :) Our growing boy!!

Our Little Boy has GROWN!

3 Weeks Old

It's AMAZING what three quick months can do in a little boy's life! Look at how much my little Easton has grown!! Makes me sad...but soo excited because you can see that little personality starting to show through!! He is SUCH a happy little camper...It'll be fun to do this picture again when he turns one!!

Pieceless Puzzle

Below is an interesting email I received from Gamewright games the other day. They have great card games, but I have never been much of a puzzle person. Any other puzzle experts out there seen something like this before?

"Greetings from Gamewright!

Are you looking for a unique gift that is sure to elicit "Wows!" from everyone who sees it? Our parent company, Ceaco, is introducing the Pieceless Puzzle - a revolutionary new puzzle unlike anything you've ever seen before. "What exactly is a Pieceless Puzzle?" Our Fairy Princess

Raquelle decided she wanted to go outside in her princess skirt to pick up rocks!! She is such a little tom boy, but loves to also be a princess!! A perfect combo for me...since I love to play in the dirt too.

A cute story for you all...our neighbor Tom has a motorcycle (of which Raquelle is totally intrigued by). We were out on the freeway when we saw a girl on a motorcycle drive by. I said, "Look Raquelle, there's a girl on a motorcycle just like Tom's!" She then said, "I want to be a Tom-girl and have a motorcycle just like her when I grow up!" I thought that was cute...it made me laugh thinking of how Tom-girl fit in that sentence perfectly in a couple ways! :) She is soo sweet!!

My wonderful family

This is my princess...all smiles and being soo silly! She makes me laugh everyday!!

Easton and Daddy were sitting on the couch watching baseball - the Braves of course! Ben was teaching Easton everything he needs to know to go pro by the age of 2!! :) As you can see...Easton is loving every minute of it - totally relaxed and enjoying being in daddy's arms!

A few fun family facts:
1. Easton is now rolling over from his belly to his back! Fortunately he can't do this while wrapped up or with blankets on him, so it hasn't effected his sleep too much!

2. Easton also rolled off the couch for the first time...whoops! :) But, he's a tough guy...only screamed for like 5 min. until I finally nursed him!! :) We'll have to work on his "tough guy" skills!!

3. Raquelle is now officially potty trained!! YEAH! Not at night or naps, but during the day she's been dry for several days!! Thanks to Kim and Shannon...my sister in laws...for a few ideas that worked REALLY good!! - I almost gave up! But, the Lord was faithful and gave me wisdom through these girls!! Naked buns and sticker charts with jelly beans did the trick!! :) Praise the Lord...I was able to put down all of our area rugs yesterday!!

4. I reserved www.jessicaharrisphotography.blogspot.com for future photoshoots so I no longer have to "clog" our family blog with photography projects! There's nothing on there now, but hopefully will be soon...when I have another photoshoot! :)

That's all for now...thanks for check'n in! God Bless!!

Welcome little Zach!

Another beautiful bundle of joy! Raquelle, Easton and I went to Alice's house for a playdate with her beautiful family. While I was there, I couldn't help taking some pics of their new little gift...Mr. Zach who is 4 weeks old! I also snapped some pics of mommy in action loving on her little man...Alice is SUCH a beauty and makes photography sooo easy!! Thanks Alice for letting me mess up your home and take some pictures of your beautiful little man! :)

As you all know Alice is an amazing pianist...so, I HAD to include this one because his expression is priceless! "Mom, do I have to practice today!??"

They are just sooo sooo kissable!

Welcome to the World of Photoshop

I recently have learned the difference of shooting in high quality JPEG or shooting in RAW. If you've got photoshop, you can batch edit and change the coloring on RAW photos SOO easily, thereby saving TONS of time!! This isn't the best picture of Easton, but he was my little model as I was shooting in different settings on my camera...I'm still trying to learn my camera. hehe However, that being said, with Photoshop, I was able to change the coloring so he looks more "flesh-toned" and add some shadows, more true color and lots of other fun stuff!! I did this in just a minute or two and was AMAZED at the before and after...so, I had to share!! See, I'm not as good of a photographer as I appear!! - I'm learning secrets in photoshop!! :)

Oh, one more note...the idea of using BeBe Photography is out the window...there are far too many photography studios named that, one being in Washington. So, I'll have to come up with something else!! :) Maybe our next child will have green eyes and we can call it BeBeGe - haha!

BeBe Photography??

It amazes me everyday how God has given me two beautiful kids with completly different eye color!! One is brown as all brown can be and the other as blue as the deep sea!! I feel like if I ever start a photography company I should call it BeBe Photography, for Brown Eyes and Blue Eyes. Let me know what you think. Afterall, I've gotten my start (and a lot of practice) takings pictures of my beautiful "BeBe-s".

A little kiss from sister!
