Balloon Update

IT POPPED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Praise Jesus! Although untimely and very sad for my daughter (she spent like 5 minutes crying about it and had to go get her blankie!), it is gone....Praise Jesus!!! She was trying to close her bedroom door and the balloon was perfectly positioned at the top corner of her door and when she went to slam it - POP!!!!!!!! it went! I'm sad for her, but ooohhhh, mama's ears are at peace today!

Jamie, you can come visit now! :)

Rocky's Balloon

I have the sweetest and most thoughtful husband! He is the best daddy! We got home from buying our minivan last night at 10:30pm and he went to the store and got Raquelle a singing balloon and a few other things for her birthday today. She turns three years old today....I can't believe how fast it's gone! So, she absolutely LOVES this GIANT balloon!! - Daddy knew she would! But, he forgot that I would be home with the crazy thing and having to listen to it ALL morning! Here's a taste of the very loud singing princess balloon!!!
P.S...note at the end a little "booty" action by Easton! :)

And yes...we are proud owners of a 2006 Kia Sedona minivan! - it's getting cleaned up/serviced today and I'll post pics tomorrow! We are soo excited! It's so nice! I have spent countless hours researching, calling, negotiating, etc...so, I'm soooooo glad it's finally behind us!! And if you know of anyone that needs a 1992 Honda Civic with 220,000 miles on it, let us know! :) - Ben's been upgraded to the Accord!! :)

We're back!

Well, we're back! - Finally healthy I should say!! Sorry to all the bloggers who are wondering where we've been...but it's been SICK around here! :( My little kiddos both got bronchitis and Easton had an ear infection on top of it all. So, it's been snotty and messy around here for a couple weeks! - but PRAISE the LORD the sick demons have left the building! - at least for a while! :) - until we go back to church! LOL!

Raquelle will be three in a week or so and MAN she is SO into being a princess and playing Cinderella! "Mom!" she'll say, "You be the prince and I'll be Cinderella!" or "Mom, you be the fairy godmother and I'll be Cinderella!" Either way, she'll act out her part down to crying on the fairy godmother's lap until I say, "Bippity-boppity-boo!" Then she'll stand up with an AWE'd expression on her face and say, "Look at my beautiful gown!" Then she'll go to the ball and dance with the prince (aka: mom)...just in time to, literally, drop her slipper and race into the kitchen to hide until the prince comes knocking on her door to ask her if she'll try it on! Then I swoop her up and dance with her as we "fall in love!" Oh my, we play this constantly!! Sometimes I have to say, "Sorry girl, momma's tired of playing Cinderella", which to that she always says, "WHY!?"! This is the reason I can't WAIT until Easton is older and he can be the prince!! :)

Here she is with her Cinderella alfit on and her 1001 expressions! :)

Praising Jesus for Cherrios!

During lunch today...Raquelle and I taught Easton how to "Praise Jesus!" for cherrios! :) He's been lifting his arms like this just randomly for the past two days...so, today we've been saying it whenever he lifts his arms, and now...he's doing it on command! :) Such a smart boy!
Praise Jesus!

A cartoon

I totally stole this off my cuzn's blog! Thanks Ashley! :) But I thought it was a great illustration!!

God promises a safe landing, not a calm passage!
