The little man...

I couldn't post a whole bunch of new pics of Raquelle without including Easton! After I got home from my photo-date with Raquelle, Easton woke up and was in a very silly mood. So I grabbed my camera and kept shooting. He was smacking his lips and smiling like no other! It was hilarious...and right after getting up from a nap with some SERIOUS nap curls/head, made for even better pics!! He's got quite the head of hair!! SUCH a sweetie pie!!

A photo date with my girl

This afternoon I took Raquelle out on the town with me for a "photo-date". I haven't taken pics of just Raquelle for a while and today was SO beautiful!! We're starting to keep her up from taking a nap so she won't sit in bed until 9-10pm at night, so during Easton's nap, we ventured out! - and she did GREAT! It was a blast! And, afterwards, we ended up at Jamba for a little reward (after bribing her towards the end for a few more shots)! :) After I got home and looked at these pics, I'm shocked at how she is a little girl, not a toddler anymore and how quickly that baby-toddler phase goes!! It's amazing!! - she is a beautiful little girl!! Thank you Lord for the blessings in my life!!

Her yummy "milkshake" - which was really just a whole bunch of fruit! :) hehehe
(Above) After Jamba Juice I took this "self-portrait" of both of us...but, because of my 50mm lens, this is all I could get! Although, I kinda like it!!! It's funky!

From inspiration from my sis-in-law and her four year old son...I handed my camera over to my three year old and told her to take some pics of mommy (she's been practicing A LOT with my super old camera from college). Here's one of her shots of me!! - a rare opportunity to see me out from behind the camera! :) I thought she did awesome!! :) - and as soon as we got home it was all about "mom, I need to take a picture of _______!" with my "nice" camera of course!! So, we'll have to only do that on special occassions or one of these days I'm afraid I'll find my "nice" camera in her room or something!! AHHH! :)

Birthday fun

We had all the family over from my side today to celebrate Easton's 1st year. It was a SUPER laid back party with a little cupcake for Easton and a little dinner after the gifts were opened. Here are a few pics from the day today.

After we got done singing happy birthday and everyone started clapping, Easton thought that would be fun to clap along!! It was soo cute!!!

Family update

Hi all! Things have been crazy crazy crazy here!! Today I went to Portland, finished cleaning out the house, left the keys on the counter, turned off the lights and said, "Good bye!". It was the last time I'd be walking through the house...and I was surprised how "unemotional" I was about it. I guess it's because I'm so excited at what the Lord has planned for us I'm looking ahead and not backwards. We've had some amazing memories in that home these past five years, but I'm looking forward to making new memories in the place the Lord has for us.
We've settled in with Todd and Stacie...overtaken their house I should say!! :) It's going to be a fun summer!! The kids LOVE having Aunt Stacie around and Mimi close by to play with. I think they are going to be sooo spoiled...well, maybe mommy is going to be sooo spoiled to have all this help!! Ben's been gone all week in Portland at school, but with Todd and Stacie here, it's been totally fine! - in fact, Nana even came to visit for a few days and I got lots of mommy time. Thanks Nana!!
Just a little update and a prayer request. We put an offer on a Short Sale property about 2.5 weeks ago. Once the first offer is received the banks can wait for as much as 30 days before making a decision because they're hoping they'll get more/better offers. They can wait and look at multiple offers. Because we put such a low offer in on this house, there is a chance the bank won't even accept it, but we're praying that if we are the only offer by June 15th (the cut off date), they will know there is a chance to lose more money if it goes into foreclosure...which is where it is heading towards...and decide to give the house to us!! :) So, please pray the Lord would continue to make our steps firm and continue to open doors for this home in Tigard. And, if this isn't the home He has for us, that he would close the doors quickly so we can get really serious at looking for other properties.
I'm hoping to get some pics of the kiddos next week when things slow down finally!! :) Easton just turned one year old!! I can't believe it!! So, I'm hoping to get some "cute" one year shots of him soon!
