This was a super fun learning experience!! There are TONS of things I'd do better next time, but the first time working with "adult play-doh" is quite the experience!! :) I think I'm going to make another one for my sister and her husband when they get home on Friday. So, stay tuned for more!! :) Ben's taking this one to school tomorrow since it was my "experimental" cake!! I hope they like it!! :)

Kids...DO try this at home! :) :) Fun times in the garage with Raquelle!!
Free Photo Book!
From my sister in law...THANKS KIM!
"I don't watch Oprah but my mom told me about a show she did yesterday...something about getting organized...anyway, I guess they were cleaning out someone's house and they took all the artwork from the kids, took digital photos and turned it into a coffee table book. Pretty cool idea - I know I need to do SOMETHING with all the artwork we have and I can't stand the thought of getting rid of it! What a great idea, turning it into a book!
So, want a free photo book??? Go to Oprah.com and click on "get your free gift from Snapfish" You MUST log in and get your credit by this Friday and you MUST create and order it by SUNDAY. Quick, but totally free hardcover photo book.

He's in their arms
Tonight, baby Jordan sleeps with his new mommy and daddy, and I am officially a new aunt! Praise the Lord for answered prayers. Stacie said he's been a very content baby and is smaller than she had thought he'd be. Todd is completly LOV'n being a new daddy and is totally smitten! So, the Lord is good...thank you for your prayers. Now we have to pray all the paperwork will be finished on time and they'll be able to fly home next Thursday.

Adoption Update...
Ben took Todd and Stacie to the airport at 4am this morning (he's such a sweetie because today is his day off and he still got up to take them)!! They will be united with Jordan tomorrow morning and they couldn't be more nervous and excited! He sounds like such a sweet baby and the lady taking care of him says he is so content and happy. We'll pray that doesn't change!! :) Todd and Stacie should be arriving back in Portland on the 21st with their son in their arms. We can't wait to meet him! Continue to pray that all the paperwork gets processed smoothly so there are no hang-ups and flight changes on their way home.
Another sweet picture of my new nephew!

A prayer request
We have exciting news...I might have a new nephew!!
My sister and her husband have been going through the adoption process and they got a call this morning that they have been selected and the baby has been born! There is tons of "God-o-inces" in this situation that can hardly be put into words. Just two of them is that Stacie and Todd picked the baby's name to be Jordan, months ago...well, the baby is now in foster care and is a week old. No where on the documents has the name Jordan appeared, nor have the agency people even known that was going to be the baby's name...but the people at the foster place have been calling him Jordan. Now, if that doesn't tell you that your name has been written in the Book of Life, I don't know what does! They were shocked! Also, Stacie had a dream over a month ago about this baby and when it was going to be born and what agency they would be working with and ALL of it has come to pass. It's startling and very crazy!! So, all this to say, there is much to be done still. The paperwork on the birth mother's side has been processed and the last day for her to change her mind is this coming Monday. Stacie and Todd are expected to fly out around Monday to go and get their baby boy. They are continuing to pray the Lord's will in all of this and would love for you to pray with them. They are nervous and very excited all at the same time!! We are continuing to pray that this baby is theirs and the Lord would continue to make it obvious and take care of all the details.
