A weekend with the Harris Family

We went to Reesdport for the weekend to hang with the entire Harris family. Our dear little grandpa Bud passed away, so we had a memorial service for him...and the same day (earlier that day), all us girls gathered to celebrate a new baby that Ben's cousin Jamie and her husband Corey are adopting from Liberia. His name is Micah and we have yet to meet him in person...but hopefully next month they will be heading over to Africa to pick up this precious gift the Lord has given them!

Kim (my amazing sister-in-law) and I also had a chance to take some pics of each others families. Although we didn't get a lot of great family pics, we managed to catch a few!! Here's just a couple of our beautiful family that I managed to capture!!

Slobber Monster

It must be a 4 month "graduation" thing, but the little man has figured out how to blow raspberries with his tongue! It's SOO cute...had to get the video camera out! He has this little cooing sound he makes when he blows. Here's a few pics of him getting all slobbery while jumping in his jumper...hence the blurriness of the second picture! :) But, still cute so I had to put it in...if you zoom in, you'll see all the slobber! :)

Does it seem strange to me that Easton's head is about as big as his sisters?? :) Growing, growing, growing!! I was looking back in Raquelle's calendar where I kept track of her schedule and sleeping patterns...I've realized although Easton is a VERY happy baby, he's a bigger eater than his sister and can't make it as long through the night. I guess that's the first major difference I've seen in boy vs. girl!! :) Our growing boy!!

It's AMAZING what three quick months can do in a little boy's life! Look at how much my little Easton has grown!! Makes me sad...but soo excited because you can see that little personality starting to show through!! He is SUCH a happy little camper...It'll be fun to do this picture again when he turns one!!

Our Fairy Princess

Raquelle decided she wanted to go outside in her princess skirt to pick up rocks!! She is such a little tom boy, but loves to also be a princess!! A perfect combo for me...since I love to play in the dirt too.

A cute story for you all...our neighbor Tom has a motorcycle (of which Raquelle is totally intrigued by). We were out on the freeway when we saw a girl on a motorcycle drive by. I said, "Look Raquelle, there's a girl on a motorcycle just like Tom's!" She then said, "I want to be a Tom-girl and have a motorcycle just like her when I grow up!" I thought that was cute...it made me laugh thinking of how Tom-girl fit in that sentence perfectly in a couple ways! :) She is soo sweet!!
