What's that smell like??

We were sitting around one evening just hang'n with the kiddos when Easton started smelling things...or smelling his own breath! It was hilarious...so, I grabbed the camera and here's what he was doing!! He thought he was soo funny too! We were both laughing at how he closes his eyes when he smells...sniffs! Soo funny! Sorry about the dark video...it was late!! :)

We had the privilege of hang'n with our friends from Seattle!! Well, not all of them...but Julie and Nolan stopped in for a visit for a few days! :) It's been so fun hang'n with them!! We went to the mall today (after the snow melted) and took the kids to the play structure! I'm lucky we got out of there alive...the kids were maniacs there!! - Where were the parents!! Raquelle got kicked in the leg, then kicked in the stomach, then run over and had a red cheek for a while. Nolan got barely tackled a few times and luckily Julie was there to grab him! - CRAZY! We got home and both our boys are cutting teeth...fussy afternoons!! Easton now has EIGHT teeth!!!!!! WOW!

It's been a blast!! Thanks for coming guys...we love you tons!!!

This face is hilarious because every time Julie would say, "Nolan, do the face!" This is what he did!! I guess daddy taught him that!!!!! :)

It's COOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLD!!

It has been SOOO cold here lately! - and DRY! I've only taken Easton out of the house for a few errands here and there and still his little cheeks are soo red and chapped!! He must have sensitive skin!! - although, I caught Raquelle taking a huge pump of lotion and slathering it all over her hands! When I asked her what she was doing she said, "Mom, my hands are real real dry!" :) Silly girl!!

And, no, I didn't put blush on his cheeks or photoshop them...they're really that red! - at least he's happy!! :) And, also, don't worry...I'm putting lotion/medicine on them! :)

Cruis'n in the laundry basket

We needed an adventure...and I needed a little exercise! So, I loaded the kids up in the laundry basket (well, actually Raquelle was already playing in it) and I did some laps down the hallway and back! They thought it was pretty fun, and I "almost" broke a sweat! :) Fun times!

Easton's cracking us up again!! He LOVES to giggle and laugh and we had to get the camera out again!! He loves when his sister throws stuff and is generally silly...here you go!! :) Laugh away!

Watch for the very, very last laugh...it's hilarious how his shoulders go up, his eyebrows arch and his eyes squint! He's soo silly!

Our Little Ram

Yesterday Easton was ramming down our block tower with his head. We'd move it to another spot and he'd crawl over there and ram it over again...and again...and again! It was soo funny! Here's a short version of our eventful afternoon!! :)

We've got a crawler!!

Easton's been crawling on all fours now for a few days! Crazy...my life will be!! He especially loves the shoes (ewww - Raquelle says) and the fireplace (no touch! - Raquelle says)! :) I've got a great little helper to keep him contained...but, there's only so many places he can crawl too!! It's amazing how fast he's getting all ready!

Sweet Faces

Raquelle got a little princess magnet project for Christmas and this morning she was building/dressing her princesses. She was in a sweet, smiley mood...so, I HAD to grab the camera and snap a few. I couldn't decide which to post, so I posted a couple! :)

A window comparison

Here's another comparison! :) Here are both my kiddos at 7months and a few days...They LOVE the window! - hours of enjoyment!! The first is Raquelle (without the new deck) and the second is Easton. Pretty funny...they look like the same kid from the back! Soo fun!

Just hang'n around the house today

Today was a beautiful day!! A frozen morning brought on a 2-hour delay for my husband's school (aka: he got to hang with the fam this morning a bit longer than usual). It was great!! This afternoon brought some sun in the windows which made for good lighting for some pics of my kiddos. I haven't felt like I've taken very many lately...it's been so dark and rainy. So, here's one of each kiddo and a pic of some "Popsicle toes"! :)

Silly Girls

We had Robb, Dana and Carly over the other night for dinner and a football game...I caught the girls being silly sitting on the fireplace with both their blankies! Carly has a green one just like Raquelle. You can see all their funny faces in this series...it's pretty cute!

Easton at 7 months

Easton is sooo close to crawling!! He's doing the push-ups and then rolls over onto his bottom to side-ways sit (hasn't quite figured out he can push himself up to a full sit). It's soo funny because again this morning I saw him doing something I knew I had a picture of Raquelle doing...so, again, I grabbed my camera and took some pics, then went back into Rocky's archives to dig them out...and here you go!

It's soo fun to see them both progessing about the same!! Crazy to think he'll be running around and carrying on conversations just like Raquelle does here in the next year or two!

Our new kitty

Raquelle got a new kitty for Christmas this year! Ben's cousin Jamie was soo sweet to give us this precious little kitten that Raquelle has named Darby! We're allergic to cats, but this kitty is really really special as it's non-allergenic. Thanks Jamie! :)
